The Willoughby Leisure Centre’s Sports Hall and group fitness program will continue to operate, but its Pool Hall and Health Club are now shut during the major upgrades. The revised construction timeline anticipates the Health Club reopening in 2026.

The changes made to the upper car park on Tuesday 21 February 2023 will improve traffic flow, especially during winter sports competitions. The car park has returned to a one-way system, with arrows painted on the asphalt and extra signage to be added shortly.
In additionally, a pedestrian crossing and an accessible pathway has been installed. These improvements are to ensure the safety of pedestrians travelling from Small Street to the netball courts and to the Willoughby Leisure Centre. We highly recommend pedestrians follow the designated route.
