Revised Group Fitness Timetable

Willoughby Leisure Centre is excited to introduce a revised group fitness timetable that officially launched this week. We have been listening to you - this new and improved timetable is a result of your feedback.

To kick things off, we are expanding the variety of small-group training classes as well as adding new weekend classes. We are also introducing a new name for the 'Training and Recovery Zone' – now called 'The Zone'.

Timetable changes:

Monday and Wednesday - New time: 5.45 pm
New class: Lift
Description: Resistance training sessions to build lean muscle and functional strength.

Tuesday - New time: 5.45 pm
New class: Sweat
Description: High-intensity cardio sessions designed to boost stamina, and enhance your fitness.

Friday 5.45 pm
New class: Lift & Sweat
Description: A full-body workout blending cardio and strength to improve endurance and strength.

New Weekend Classes: 

Saturday 4.30 pm
New class: Core & Recovery
Description: Core strength training followed by restorative stretching.

Sunday 4.30 pm
New class: Lift & Sweat
Description: A full-body workout blending cardio and strength to improve endurance and strength.

Red-Flag System

With the updated timetable, we are reintroducing the Red-Flag System to monitor attendance. Classes with an average attendance of six or fewer participants will be flagged for review and may be adjusted or removed if attendance remains low over four weeks.
